Before you use it
Updates are occasional (last in April 2026). Only point it at projects you trust, as it runs their scripts.
Why it's useful
The useful bit is the loop: the assistant runs the game, reads the debug output and errors, and fixes its own GDScript, rather than guessing. It can also make scenes, add nodes and load sprites. One command adds it to Claude Code.
What it needs
Godot 4 installed (4.4+ for the UID tools), Node.js 18+, and an MCP client such as Claude Code, Cline or Cursor. Your own AI subscription or API key.
Image: Viber Cove. Godot MCP belongs to Coding-Solo; we just think it's worth knowing about.
