NAND-16

by Matt Shumer

A working computer built from 277,248 logic gates, sitting on a 3D retro desk: it boots, runs its own little operating system and plays games.

What you doWatch it boot, then pick Nandtris, Snake or Life from its menu and play on the old monitor. Speed the clock up or slow it right down, then zoom from the desk into the chips and all the way down to single gates flickering as the signals flow. Needs a keyboard.

How this works: we look up every game on itch.io, Steam and Game Jolt and average the player reviews, weighted by how many each site has. Steam and Game Jolt use thumbs up or down, so we turn their percentage into stars (90% positive = 4.5). "Viber Cove players" is scored by people with a Viber Cove account.
