How a Microwave Works

by Konstantin Saifoulline

A beautifully lit 3D microwave you can take apart to see how it really cooks, right down to the waves and the water molecules.

What you doSwitch between whole, cutaway and exploded views, change the power, cook water, pizza or chocolate, turn the turntable off and watch the hot spots form. You can even measure the speed of light from them. Mouse only; it's heavy 3D, so it wants a decent computer.

Builds the airsup lab, a set of explorable 3D machines you can take apart in the browser: a fusion reactor, a Raptor rocket engine, a Cybertruck and a microwave.

How this works: we look up every game on itch.io, Steam and Game Jolt and average the player reviews, weighted by how many each site has. Steam and Game Jolt use thumbs up or down, so we turn their percentage into stars (90% positive = 4.5). "Viber Cove players" is scored by people with a Viber Cove account.
