Alpha software, moving fast (new versions most days). Keep copies of important files and expect some rough edges.
Why it's useful
Same panels, tools and shortcuts as Premiere, so it's easy to pick up if you've used that. Cut trailers and devlogs on a proper multi-track timeline, grade the colour and mix the sound. Every action is also a command an AI agent can run, so Claude and similar agents can drive edits for you.
What it needs
Desktop app for Windows, Mac and Linux, or run it in your browser. Nothing to set up and no graphics card needed.
