Rocket Nozzle Lab

by Ryan Sael

A rocket engine cut open on a showroom test stand, showing how hot gas turns into thrust.

What you doPush hot gas from the chamber through the throat and out of the bell, turn the throttle up and down, and make the throat narrow or wide to watch the flame pinch in or flare out. Take the engine from sea level up into a vacuum, pull it apart into an exploded view, and see which walls the push actually lands on. Rocket science made simple enough for kids.

How this works: we look up every game on itch.io, Steam and Game Jolt and average the player reviews, weighted by how many each site has. Steam and Game Jolt use thumbs up or down, so we turn their percentage into stars (90% positive = 4.5). "Viber Cove players" is scored by people with a Viber Cove account.
